I am embarrassed to say there were several on this list that I hadn't ever heard of. Atleast on the "Board's List"
Another list I found that I made me feel a little better about my book reading was this:
(found at best100novels.com)

I think I've only read 31. The list reminded me of a few things. First, I hate Life of Pi, I don't get why people think it's so great. Also, I've tried to read The Magic Mountain twice and never finished it, but I still consider it one of my favorite books! It's super deceiving because it looks normal to longish in length but you can read it daily and it'll take an entire summer to finish that thing! And also, my comparative lit professor at BYU said that everyone should read Ulysses by James Joyce and any three PG Wodehouse novels before they die (PG Wodehouse made Jeeves, "the gentleman's gentleman"). So far I've only read two PG Wodehouse novels.
